Laikipia Plateau – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast in Nairobi hotel, you will depart by road in your 4×4 Safari minivan vehicle for a scenic drive to the Laikipia Plateau. The conservancy is now the largest rhino sanctuary outside of South Africa, situated on nearly 100,000 acres on the equator, in Kenya’s Laikipia region. Ol Pejeta has the highest ratio of game-to-area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Rare species of wildlife include black and white rhino, the extremely rare Grevy’s zebra, and Jackson’s Hartebeest, along with lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, cheetah, leopard and plains wildlife, all in full view of Mount Kenya.Your accommodations for the next two nights will be at your lodge or Tented Camp.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You have one more day of exciting wildlife viewing activities on day and guided wildlife walks on the open plains and along the river, visits to the Morani Information Centre and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, or to local community projects such as schools and the opportunity to join the Ol Pejeta rangers tracking Rhino at an extra cost. With overnight at lodge or Camp on Full Board.

Lake Nakuru National Park

This morning after breakfast, you depart with your guide with packed lunch box, driving down into the Great Rift Valley, on your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. Then after lunch you will depart on an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its flocks of flamingos, at times numbering in the millions. The Park has a rhino sanctuary and it also contains many leopards in addition to fantastic bird life and the usual plains game.

Lake Nakuru – Hell’s Gate

This morning after breakfast you’ll leave the Lake Nakuru area with packed lunch and continue to Hell’s Gate, a spectacular area of gorges, natural hot geysers and the two extinct volcanoes: Olkaria and Hobley. A haven for ornithologists and rock climbers, the cliffs of Hell’s Gate are breeding grounds for Verreaux’s Eagles, vulture and thousands of swifts. You’ll have a chance to do some walking in the area before departing for Lake Naivasha . Enjoy picnic lunch and driving to Lake Naivasha you can take a boat-ride in the Lake with some up-close hippo viewing before returning to your Lodge or Tented Camp in the late afternoon which is optional at extra Cost of 30$ per client and paid directly.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch box by road across the Rift Valley escarpment to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, the jewel of Kenya’s game reserves. Located in the northern section of the great Serengeti Plains, it has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere in Africa. The reserve is the home of the “Big Five” … elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, hippo, impala, gazelle and numerous other wildlife, and hundreds of species of birds. During August to October, the Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses.Your home for the next three nights will be the secluded Lodge or Tented Camp. After getting settled in, enjoy your packed lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon depart on your first game drive in the Mara. Return to Lodge or Tented Camp in time to freshen up and enjoy a sundowner around the campfire before dinner.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You have one more day for multiple or all-day game drives – it’s up to you and your guide and the movement of the animals. You may also want to take a walk in the hills escorted by Masai guides who demonstrate their extensive knowledge of plants and animals while surrounded by spectacular landscapes in every direction.

Masai Mara / Nairobi – Depart

Arise early this morning for a sunrise game drive and late breakfast and then drive back to Nairobi. On arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport. Safari can start any day of the year.
